Neighborhood Update - The NWN Podcast
Hi. This page is reserved for our own original audio podcasts. What is an audio podcast? It is basically an audio file that any computer can play. Like a radio show really. Only with Audio Podcasting it is like having our own radio station, it's just that you can either play it at the computer, or download it to your own computer or mp3 player. Here's the basics though: to just listen on your computer now, left click the 'pod' button to the left of the podcast title, it should automatically pull up your media player and, well, play. To download, right click the 'pod' button. It should open a pull-down menu, and ask you where you want to download the file on on your computer.

What is a Strategic Plan? How does it work? Why do we want or need one? Glad you asked! And all will become clear in this two part discussion. The idea, is to sustain the positive elements we have now, and plan out for the future, those things we want to improve on. Come listen in and find out about the process and why it's important for us to take on this project, and tie it into the City's Master Plan.

In this 2nd part, we go more in depth as to how a strategic plan for our neighborhood might work, how it could fit into the City of Elgin's Master Plan, and why it will be important for our neighborhood to begin this process when all the pieces are in place to collaborate with the City on this.
